A good PGA tournament was played last week and one of our long time favorites came out on top…

And ended his skid.

Getting Manny out to play is still a challenge but we still persevere and occasionally it works…
I know it’s viewed as the Lord’s day
But springtime will be on display.
If spouse compensation
Can gain dispensation,
Maybe Manny can come out and play?
Jeff is working diligently with his new swing coach to improve his game before our annual trip to Myrtle Beach…
For good play Jeff can’t ask of his God
So quite often he turns to his ‘pod’.
If that fails to support
He’ll happily resort
To give his Skyy bottle the nod.
And of course Mike and I are still going back and forth regarding our bet that ends this Labor Day…
I’ll admit that he’s closer this year
As he’s shifted his game into gear.
I’m hearing this crap
As he’s closing the gap,
“Objects are closer than they appear”.
He opines that he keeps getting nearer
But I feel that I must make it clearer,
If I need to remind
Who’s ahead or behind,
I just look in my rear view mirror.
