You don’t want your golf ball to land
Smack dab in the middle of sand
To the pros it looks easy
But I just get queasy
Knowing bogey or worse is at hand.
The par five was short, so I think
I can get there in two in a blink
But the next shot was hairy

So I ended up splashed in the drink!

You get tense, but swing anyway
The secret to know
Is just let it go
And get your head out of the way.
You might hit the fairway…or not
Then just off the green is the shot
Even if it’s a seven
You’ll feel you’re in heaven
If the putt that you sink is worth dots!
The Bridges is brutal to play
With every mistake you’ll pay
A little or a lot
Depends on the shot
But you’re gonna get screwed either way.
